Juventus 0 - 2 Bologna. What chances they have left for this season?

Juventus was just beaten by its former player Marco Di Vaio 0 - 2 at their home ground. I'm a Juventini and i'm starting to doubt where will Juve finish in this season. With their 7th position right now, I'm afraid they can't even go to Europe League next season, since Palermo will go there by performing in the Coppa Italia final (regardless they win or not, because their opponent is Inter). So, any Juventini around here? Or any soccer fans would like to comment what chances do Juve have to finish this season?

I don't follow Italian football regularly, only the results and it is very surprising how Juventus makes this results. They have beaten Inter and they loose to much weaker teams. I think they have serious concentration problems. As for reaching European competition spots, I don't know. They are capable of it, but they are not constant at all.

I am taking a chance and say that both teams will score. And I also think that Juve will not loose.

Yeah. Consistency is their main problem in this season. Maybe when they got to face their rival, they played it heartily to beat them. But if it was a weaker them, they took it too easy and then there they are went down for shameful result. We'll see the next match facing Milan. What will the result be ...

I think with the two Milan teams at the top and Napoli being resurgent, Juve's stock is going down. I am not sure what has gone wrong with Juve, but ever since their relegation due to corruption charges, they have not looked the same team. I do not think in the current form Juve will finish in the top three or even fourth. What do you think are the reasons for Juve's decline? Do you think the relegation actually was the main reason? Cheers! Ram

Yes, sadly whether we like it or not, money is definitely a key component these days. Cheers! Ram

I even think they couldn't have been qualified for Europe League (that is 5-7 position)! Relegation, admitted or not, is indeed one of reason why their performance is declining like now. But most of it, i think the morale of the players, and maybe the management also, is very poor. Not to mention the mediocre players they had, they could not afford to buy quality players to strengthen and add depth to their squad. That was my opinion, according to the news I've observed. So, beside relegation, maybe one of the other reason is their financial. Money, whether you like it or not, is indeed have a significant role in modern soccer today. Don't you think so?

Yeah. Trophies would have to be forgotten this season. For Aquilani, I don't know if Juve really got financial problems. From the news I've read, they have a difficulties to make Aquilani permanent from Liverpool. I'm not sure if the news is right or not. About the keeper, don't you think Storari is good enough? Maninger once to be a good reserve for Buffon and he played well. But now I think his performance has went down. But I think Storari is enough for now. Why do you think Juve need to buy another one?

There are still 11 rounds left, so everything can happen. Juventus are 7 points behind the 4th position, but it will be quite difficult for them to reach that position. I think they will participate in Europe League, but i really hope they can reach the Champions League positions, because I see Juventus as a Champions League team.

Juve indeed have a good record and history in Champions League. But same like Liverpool whose performance are not convincing these days, it proves that history 'sometimes' don't talk and have no relation with today's condition. I do really hope they could reach Europe, even it's 'just' Europe League. But do you think they will be able to compete next season, if they really got qualified?

yes, I am also disappointed with the result from last season, and why Marco Di Vaio is not maintained by the Juventus Management. Juve next season, hopefully it can bounce back and regain achievement. happy myLotting
