hi akhileshebay! I usually just laugh at myself how poorly I answered the exam. I knew it was my fault having poor scores most of the time due to not studying well or I have forgotten what I have studied or I just studied the wrong topic. So I'll just make sure to have better performance during the next exam. Yes it's disappointing but it's no use to fret myself and I'll be frustrated thinking so much about it.

ya you are right, sometimes we don't care about our exams, but taking them lightly it very dangerous sometimes. Sometimes we loose our future just coz of a single exam, don't you think like that?

Yes there are situations wherein a single exam means a lot and we could lose what we might be having in the future. Actually it seldom happens to me because I won't take an exam unprepared it's just sometimes that we can't avoid to get low scores or fail. I agree that we shouldn't take them lightly as it would hurt us in the long run. We must try always to give our best shot.

Talk to your teacher. See if extra credit is available. Study harder for the next one. At the very most extreme, drop the class and take it next semester prepared to work harder.

studying hard for next exam would be a better thing as i don't wanna talk to the teacher, i don't even give it a second thought..hehhe

It depends on how important the exam was. If it was an exam that was going to determine me passing a class, I'd get upset. Maybe cry. I definitely would and have gotten grouchy when I've failed tests. But, if I knew overall the test wasn't going to matter, I'd be disappointed, but not overly so.

ya its very natural to get disappointed after getting a failure but going into depression is not a solution..we must make ourselves stronger and continue to make effort to get success

Hi,friend. I am not sure how bad your performing really is. You know, i have encountered such things: sometimes i thought i have done very well in one exam, but the result is not good at all; And sometimes i feel not very well about my exam, but it turned to be ok. Of course, if you have left lots of subjects empty and you don't have no clue at some subjects and you just choose a answer randomly. You definitely did bad at your exam. At this time, you will try to learn why you can't do well: is it because you have not work hard enough? or the exam is too hard for all people? or your way of study is not right? Don't be so sad about that, try to learn some lessons and try to do good in the next exam.

I usually take a moment to reflect on the what-ifs and what-could-have-beens. After that, I eat something to cheer me up - usually a favorite snack or a chocolate and try to move from that experience while eating. I also seek the company of my friends or find myself surfing the internet to distract myself and to help me move on. After that I try to study to make up for the next exam so that at least my grades will even out. If there is no way or method for me to even out, I usually study very hard for the major exam since that particular exam carries a lot of weight in the grading system.

Accept it as it is. No use really in moping about it. You might have other exams and feeling bad about this one might affect the others. Just make sure you prepare better in future exams.

No one feels good doing badly in exams. First you need to ask yourself if you prepared well for it? If so, take the poor performance as a challenge to do better next time. If you did not even prepare for it, there is no reason to feel bad not doing well, because in a blunt of saying you deserve it. Then again, it is just one exam. Life is more than just exams. Quickly get over it and move on. Study harder and smarter the next time. Learn techniques of studying so that you can be more efficient and effective. I use to study the techniques in Tony Buzan's book "How to Study". It was very useful for me, so you might want to review it if you have the time. I wish you success in the future exams.

What do I do? I stop thinking about it! :D There's no use crying over spilled milk. What's done is done. You'll be losing more of the seconds of your life if you spend it on worrying about it. xD I just thank God it's over, and I go out, have some ice cream and pizza, with the promise in mind that I shall do better on the next exam. :)
