Dear myLotters, Without a doubt, hair is the most important changeable feature you all have (of course, not me LOL!). Today, we are living in a time when not a single hairstyle can be considered as the fashion of the day. What is your perfect Hairdo? Movies are filled with beautiful women and extremely hot hairstyles. Which celebrity's hairstyle do you admire? What is your state-of-the-art technique for perfect haircut? What is your daily styling? -- Straight-hair? -- Curls? -- Waves? -- Fringes? -- Bob? or Up-dos? what factors influences your hairdos? So, what is perfect hairstyle for your face? Do you experiment with your hairstyle?

I am shaved down to the skin so in my opinion, the best haircut is not having much hair at all. Especially with people who are balding. When they have those 2 strands of hair remaining, it is quite embarrassing to look at. Also, having as little hair as possible is also great in conserving time that would've been used to fix your hair.

Wow, we have exactly same opinion. I have started balding and you can see my hairstyle. I used to get them shaved off very often and always keep them short. I think for people like me it is done not out of fashion, it is done because there is no choice. LOL!

What an positive approach buddy, you have an entirely new vision. I have opted crew-cut as after sometime shaved head is crew-cut only.

You can thank the military for the style of the shaved head or the peach fuzz head looking stylish. I used to have a lot of hair and I would spend about 10 to 15 minutes putting all the gunk into my hair and shaping it and styling it. At night I would spend an extra 5 minutes in the shower trying to wash that stuff out. It's very time consuming fixing hair and then having to wash it out, it reminds me how women take their time putting on make-up and then taking the same amount of time trying to take them off. It's ridiculous. Another bad thing about maintaining hair is that no matter what you do with your hair, it will affect the skin on your face. It will always put more oil on your face and that will always result in more acme and an uglier appearance overall. So why not get it all off and have less to deal with?

Hi nishant It has been a really long long time since I had my hair cut. Wait, I do have it trimmed to keep in shape but today I have longer hair. My avatar is fem a pic snapped in Nov 2010. When at college way back in early 1990s, I tried almost every haircut the film starts had...from amir khan to sanjay dutt (those days his hair was the longest among the heroes of Bollywood) That went with the age then. Today, I steal a rubber band from my wife and put it on, have a small pony tail and I like that feel. Oh yes, I had a discussion on my hairdo last year and when almost all suggested that it is okay for me to have long hair, I stuck to my preference. But very soon, this year, I would go for a military cut as I loved that. I had it done by the Army Barber when I was at one of the Training Headquarters for 6 months teaching our Army men Computers and Security in 2005. I loved that hairdo and hope to have it back again soon... (though I would look more sick in that I am sure)

Summers are near and I know the longer hair will give me all sorts of trouble. Moreover, this look is with me for quite sometime. So something new to try. As you are aware I have to stay indoors almost all of the time, so this is some thing which would make me feel better. My wife has gone off to her parents town today and would be back on 5th morning and once she is back we would go for booking of the tickets to Hyderabad.

Yes, for summers, military cut will be the best options. And it will also give you a change. That's fine, but do not miss it and get yourself checked. Good luck.

Hi Sids, Yes, I remember very well the hairstyle of Sunjay Dutt. It was very famous and everybody was going mad and adopting it. It too had that style back in 1997 when I was in 10th class. Great buddy, ponytail look awesome. Yes, long hair suits you. You look great. Why you want to go for military cut when you are sure it will not look good? And yes, March has arrived. I hope your wife's leaves have been sanctioned.

HI! I prefer simple and short hair cut. I do not like to experiment. I know I look smart in simple hair cut.. I believe that 'looks are deceiptive'., if someone is going to attract towards me, s/he would do on the basis of my entire personality not only on the basis of my hair cut.

My natural hair is dark brown and straight. I have fairly long hair that goes past my shoulders. At the moment I don't have a fringe. Over the years I have tried different hair styles. I went short and spiky when I was 14 years old. Then after that I grew my hair out and had it in bob style when was 16years old. I had a perm and got my hair ginger low lights. The coloring gave my hair a lack of shine and poor condition. So I tried extra red henna and it gave my hair shine, bounce and a subtle color. Now I have long hair I can have it lose or tie it back. Long hair is so very versatile. I am thinking of using henna again to hide the gray hairs I am getting.

Yes natural way of hair coloring is the best way, and henna is extremely good in that. It has other benefits too. Glad to know that you have tried many hairstyles in the past. You have been very experimental. Long straight hair look gorgeous, there is no comparison. Will you consider ever changing your style in future?

Really that hairstyle is just Fantabulous! I just saw Jennifer Aniston. Glad to know that it suits you. I am sure you look gorgeous with that hairdo. When you feel that it suits you and makes you feel hot -- that is enough to boost up confidence and enthusiasm. Keep up the good work.

Actually, I just had a haircut yesterday, I have all the damged ends cut off, it was like 3 inches of it. I would prefer to have a long curly hair. I'm waiting to curl my hair inthe summer. I used to like to have some fringes but I don't like it anymore.

That is good that you keep changing your hairstyle, and yes curly hair, especially long one, looks great. You will get them curled in summer why not now? Is there is something related with temperature or season?

Although I´m old and should know better, I do experiment with my hair. I have a cousin who is an stylist and is always wanting to do something new with it. I let her ansd feel like I´m playing. Most of the times it´s a lot better than what it was.
