Stephanie Laurens happens to be one of my favorite historical novel writer. she has two series that i absolutely love: the Bastion Club and the Cynsters.they both have comedy and romance and each book has a mystery to be solved by the hero and his lady love before the can settle down to their life. and the heroes are always lotharios (players)or rakes with good hearts. i do so love a good romance with a hunk and a heroine who has a brain.
