After watching the most thrilling match of the world cup, India against England, can we expect the ruling of UDRS is worth enough for the match? Recently after the match, Dhoni expressed his anger upon the UDRS ruling.

UDRS is so far so good. i have seen the ian bells decision and i am also convinced that it would have been difficult to give that our. there was a lot of ground to cover and that was the doubt that gave the benefit for the batsman. but yes, one important thing is that a third umpire can never be the best judge about will the ball hit the stumps cause haw eyes cannot consider factors like wind, bounce as per pitch etc like there can be spots on the crease where ball will bounce more compared to other where the ball may keep low. this is something only the 2 umpires on field can judge.

UDRS is a ridiculous rule. Either the third umpire should give the final decission and the ground umpires should not interfere in it. But now, it is like 50=50, and that is why Billy Bowden had not give Bell out.I thing UDRS should be revised and then can bring it.

I think whether you have UDRS or not it is always going to be about how people use them. I thought the Bell decision was atrocious. Billy Bowden cannot hide behind the rules and try to defend his decision. I think that is the very reason why the Indian players do not really believe in UDRS. Cheers! Ram

UDRS is useless. when the hawk eye can show that the ball will hit the stumps, then why to hesitate to give it out. that too shows that ball will hit the middle of middle stump. watching yesterdays match, I will also say that there is no need of UDRS, if its like this. If you dont have faith in technology, and there is a ambiguity with its decision, why to have it in some cases and avoid it in some other cases. its ridiculous, and useless. I think UDRS should be removed, past cricket is better than this.
