I'm not so sure but i think the answer is NO. Ex-boyfriend is one and your bestfriends have to be other person. Example: your bestfriend can be your brother but not and ex-boyfriend.

yes, i am the best friend of my ex-girlfriend.. its just depends upon the relationship you share. we both apart because we discovered that we can be better friends than better partner. so we move to friendship.. and its going great..

I tried this once. It was too painful to see him. I'm better off not seeing him at all.

I think it's possible, if both parts are very generous, don't talk about lovers of today and also none of the two parts have feelings still for each other.
