Self Education books

could anybody please recommend me any self education books mainly in all engineering fields and technology and modern history as well...thank u :)

Engineering is very wide. Do you mean electrical, electronic, chemical, civil, bioengineering, satellite, etc, etc.... You should be more specific otherwise no one knows the better which topic you are really interested. The easiest way might be to go www.amazon.com and see what books are out there. You could try the schaum series...reasonably cheap and full of worked examples although I didn't use much of it as a student many many many moons ago. I just use recommended texts, and if not sufficient, there's always the library.

thnx for your reply,i am a mechatronics student but i am interested in reading in all engineering majors. My problem is that not all books i can read on my own,most of them are made specially for university studies not for self studying.
