You have missed the major point of the UN. The Human Rights Committee has found human rights violations. In fact Most of the Human Rights Violation (according to the UN)occur in Israel The UN HRC is even investigating the US for Human Rights Violation. From what I have found out there has not been one recorded (according to the UN) human right violation from such countries such as Libya, Saudi Arabia, Palestine or other Arab Countries. It seems simple to me if we eliminate the US and Israel we will solve the Human Rights Violations in the world.

I saw this in the news yesterday, I am glad you posted about it. It shows yet again the impeccable timing of the UN not to mention its relevance - non existent.

Oh yes, that is like when they gave seats on their "council on the status of women" (can't remember the exact name of the body) to countries where women are not even considered people for legal purposes. Countries where women are not allowed to do basic things like own property, and countries where rapists are allowed off scot-free as long as they offer to marry their victim, which of course makes it "ok" that they raped a woman...because what a woman thinks or feels isn't important as long as only on pen*s gets inside her in a lifetime.
