loosed brake

if youre driving a fast moving truck with loosed brake, and youre unable to stop. there are 2 streets you can choose to go.the street on the left are 10 people standing on the middle of the street , and on the right street is youre mother standing.
would you go to the left or whould you turn from the right?
why?

If I had lost my brakes and had to choose between turning left and potentially killing 10 people or turning right and killing my own mother, I would have to choose the right. If I were to turn left, not only would I have to live with 10 lives lost but my mother's disappointment as well.
