Victory for Chelsea

Although I'm not a Chelsea fan, I have long been waiting for Man U to loose (although they lost to Wolves). If you had asked me before the game, I would have loved a Chelsea win but to the surprise of every one who though Man U were winning, Chelsea won. This is a pivotal point in the title race that allows Arsenal, my team, to take advantage of their game in hand. Since the beginning of the season, or for must of it, I expected Man U to hit a rough patch, could this be it? Is this the chance for Arsenal to win silverware?

I think this was a great win for Chelsea. Also it is a great result for the premier league as this throws the tournament wide open. Arsenal can close the gap to 1 point if they win their game in hand. That sets up a great finale to the end of the season and Arsenal would not want to blunder this one. Cheers! Ram

All of a sudden Arsenal world does not look so bad. They are into the next round of the FA Cup after thrashing Leyton 5-0. They go into their match with Barcelona a goal ahead. And they can potentially cut the lead in the league to 1 point if they win their game in hand. But the key is going to be the list of high profile injuries with Van Persie, Fabregas, Walcott and Vermaleun all out with injuries. Cheers! Ram

The premier league is wide open. Arsenal do have a tendency to 'blunder' their chances as we have seen in the las few years and especially Sunday's defeat. I just hope Arsenal can win something this season. Have a great day

As a United fan I can honestly say I expected a defeat against Chelsea bar this season Uniteds record against the usual top four teams isn't all that good . United hadn't won a game at Stamford bridge in the last nine outings that says something. I'm a bit annoyed at not putting my bet on at half time though for the Chelsea comeback wasn't amazing odds but they were decent could have made a bit of money to cushion the blow of the defeat As for Arsenals chance you could easily think so but I highly doubt it Arsenal fall apart when it really matters and I can see them not taking advantage of Manchester Uniteds loss. I also think United won't have a rough patch they've already recovered from the Wolves defeat so this game should be no different .

Most United fans that I know were sure Man U would have gotten the result. I still have high hopes for Arsenal despite an upsetting defeat on Sunday. I think they can focus on the other trophies this season as it doesn't make sense dwelling on the defeat. We just have to see what happens as this season has been unpredictable.

I try to be an honest United fan and not be big headed about the team which to be honest have been very lucky to be at the top of the table this season on playing form that is results is a different matter. I myself never expect Manchester United to beat the usual big four but I;m content with United being able to recover and secure the league after this weekend when we lose to Liverpool that is At the end of the day I see Arsenal faltering against all the so called smaller teams in the league and could see them crashing out against Barcelona. Is Fabregas going to make it? Is it even worth the risk of further injury though? As for Van persi being out for three weeks I believe Arsenal shall feel his loss from the side, only time will tell though.

i think chelsea fans and ancellotti must smile... thanks to David Luiz (i think this is his first goal)... not bad for MU, but they must wake up...wake up...MU still had a chance to get winner this season

Chelsea fans everywhere must be ecstatic and it is David Luiz's first goal in the Chelsea uniform. This year the league is looking very close with the top 4 or 5 in contention. If the top two teams slip up then Chelsea still have a, very unlikely, chance to win.

The second defeat for United this season. It was again on away ground. I didn't expect Chelsea to win. I thought it would be a draw, but Chelsea surprised, and showed, that they are on their way back on top level. Rooney goal was absolutely the best one in my opinion. Another point of view, is that the result makes the title race much closer, because if Arsenal wins their next match against Sunderland on Emirates Stadium, they will only be one point behind United. The result for Chelsea is really good aswell. They get more confident, and makes their chances for a third place more realistic.

I agree with that result tightening the title race. I would much rather 3 teams to have winning chances on the last game week than one team winning it weeks before because the dominate. Have a great day

Big surprise for everyone I think. Also for Chelsea, Torres who were expected to create his first goal, and then David Luiz who finally made it. Feel sorry for United lost, but I hope this gonna be the last defeat they have this season. Next match to Liverpool, time to get up! By the way, it's also time for Wes Brown to show up again, since I think he would be the replacement for Vidic.
