There is no one in this world that can replace my grandma in my life. She is the best! She always oversees and take care of us ever since. I remember the time when she had an accident a few years back. She couldn't walk for months because she had her legs broken. We would take care of her in the morning but when I go back home, I would see her oversee with the preparation of our food and the cleanliness of our house. I would see her at the kitchen most of the time in her wheel chair. Like now, she had a mild stroke and couldn't move her left arm and she can't speak clearly. She was treated for months and thank God that she can move her hands now. But the speech is still her problem. Even though she is undergoing something, I can see her enthusiasm to see as well which shouldn't be the case. Instead of just resting in her bed and let us take care of her, she keeps springing back and see that everything is in order for us. She is awesome! I don't know where she is getting her energy from. I just love her. hehehe... How about you? Can you tell something about your grandma or grandpa.

My grandmother a loving and caring woman who has raise a lot of children today a mother of eleven kids and the six more who she care for.she love to wash and cook even when she is tired she just keep on going no matter how you tell her to let you do it for her.she love to work,go to church she was a woman who love to help people in their time of need.she was a healthy woman. An till one morning she wake up and said oh my god i cant move, her legs could not move.after they lift her and take her to the doctor ,the doctor say that she get a stroke on the left side of her body. she cry especially when she every one else walking she would burst in tears.so she was one place just on her bed but she cant walk.nut she have all her kids and grand kids around just to cheer her up.but that was the enough, she think about her sickness a lot and even cry more as she started to cry i cry as well i just could not help it. Months after while she was their on her bed she would still give a joke now and then.Even when she was sick she would still make you smile and till one day she went to bed and she never woke up her heart was beating but her eyes were close she spend eleven days in a coma and till the good Lord just take her home. she pass away on the 15 of January 2011 and was laid to rest February 12,2011. I really miss her especially because she always take care of me and my son, some times i cry when i look at her picture's and even when i see the grave around the back.I miss them both and i will always love them. And i want to thank them for making me the person who i am today they have grown me to be and i love them for that. Maybe I started a wrong discussion. Instead of making everyone think of happy thoughts about their grand parents, I ended up making you remember the pain of loosing them. But I know they are very much loved by you that they left happy memories for you to remember.

After i started to write it seems as if i can stop ,so i just tell it like it is.I really miss them both, i know that they are in a better place now. Thank you for starting this discussion,it is a happy though it make me realize that when people really love and care for you will always do no matter where they are. The pain of loosing them was hot,but they left some happy memories with us.Memories that will always live on in our heart. Grandparents are the foundation of this generation.

My grandma was a sweet heart, a role model to me.. My grandma took the entire responsibility of our family when our family was going through the tough time.. she worked at all possible places to earn money, she took care of her children's education and she never made them suffer anytime..She loves to give the children best education possible, whenever people had seekd her help for their kids education my grandma has given her best to help them.. she was a wonderful lady she passed away few years back but she still lives in our memory...

Lucky you! Thanks for sharing your story. I still have a grandmom and she is the best IMO! She's just like any one of her grandchildren. She would dress like a teenager and if you are to buy her a gift make sure that it is the latest design out in the market. She loves dresses, shoes and makeup! lol! She usually goes out to the market in heels and in makeup. Whenever we wanted to share about our lovelife, she always have ready ears to listen to us and is very understanding. Oh,and she is a good cook too! I have a lot of things to say about her. So to make the story short, we recently found out that she's suffering from high blood and diabetes, that made things turn upside down. She do not usually dress anymore. She's not our grandma anymore in physical terms but I know that she's still her somehow inside. I don't get to see her all the time nowadays and I just pray that God give her more days to live and good health.
