'Make a new discussion' means starting a discussion like you do just now. myLot will pay you for your participation whether it is starting a discussion or responding to or commenting on discussion. Task, however, are independent of participation. Any member can submit a task with a reward which other members can do for them. You get paid for the task when you successfully complete it. This point in FAQ explains it. http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq21.aspx

Hi hieuhanh, Task is as the word suggest a work posted by users. Any member can browse through it and work. Have you heard of Amazon Mechanical Turk. It is the same as this one. To get a better idea you should go in there. It is one of the largest place to find jobs. There are more jobs than in here. Go there for understanding tasks better.

Making a discussion is what you just did. Made a topic asking a question. Doing a task is when you go to tasks and do whatever the task tells you to, then the owner of the task pays you.

task is another doings/work you will do her in my lot. new discussion is where you can start any topic that other member can post there comments, and by doing new discussion and posting comments/reply comments, you can earn from this. then, Task is where you can do it by following the instruction of who made the task it's depend on how much you can earned from this by just what they post how much you can get in doing this job. good luck.. happy mylotting

A task means something you need to accomplish. something you need to do and finish. while new discussions are opening a new topic or a subject and wait for others to respond and expand the information about the subject you have given.
