On February 15th, I was rushed to hospital by ambulance suffering from chest pains. I received excellent attention and was finally released yesterday. Happily, there is nothing seriously wrong with my heart but I have to lose weight and follow a healthier diet. I hadn't been getting outside much this winter but now with spring just around the corner, all that has to change. I hope to get back to commenting on some of discussions here as well. Blessings.

I'm so sorry to learn this and hope you're feeling better. I'm sure glad to know there's nothing seriously wrong with your heart but it still must have given you quite a scare. Good luck with your diet and weight loss goals. I'm also trying to do the same and it's not easy since I'd been one of the fortunate ones who could eat just about anything and not gain an ounce until a few years ago. Maybe we could give some encouragement to each other, that always helps I think.
Take care and HUGS!

Pose-
I'm glad that you are recovering nicely. What did the doctor suggest to you for your new lifestyle diet? Are you going to have to be on heart medication or just rest? You already know that meditation does wonders for the body. You may wish to look into Qi-Gong as it is excellent for all health issues and getting your body into proper shape without being high impact.
I wish you the very best and keep us posted.

Hi Anora, Thank you for responding and I have to lose a lot of weight. I hadn't realized that I had added as many pounds as I had this winter. I am not on any heart medication but must rest for a little while and than get back into doing some walking on a daily basis. I am not familiar with Qi-Gong but with check it out. I am open to all forms of meditation, thank you for suggesting it. Blessings.

Hi. Pose123. It is so good to have you back here at myLot!
I am glad that you are fine and that your condition is not that serious. I have been having chest pains in January, myself. I went to the doctor for this too. They did an EKG on my heart. Everything was fine. But there was a minor equivalent that they have noticed on one of the readings. It is nothing serious or major as the doctor said. But he still referred me to a heart doctor. I am supposed to see an Cardiologist. I am planning on making this appointment very soon. I am very concerned about my overall health. I hope that my results will turn out fine as well. I am glad that you are doing fine and that you are feeling so much better. Take care and God Bless you!

Hi Pose: Thanks God there's nothing wrong with your health. I am glad for this news and I hope that you follow these reccomendations from the doctor. It's very important that we take our time to know how healthy we are and to hear from the specialists what we need and not wait until we don't feel good. But I am glad that everything is going find. You are a great friend here. I love your advices and almos every discussion that you start. Have a nice day.

Hi starsailover, Thank you for those kind words. The doctors thought at first that there was something wrong with my heart but I had difficulty with that diagnosis, and my intuition proved to be true. I had gained too much weight over the winter and have already started to lose. Blessings.
