Read books, go outdoors often, be active, get together with people in person, help out in your community, focus on doing things for others....Just a small list to get you started :) Though it would suck, it wouldn't be the end of the world...UNLESS that's what is going to happen in 2012! All computers stop working and people don't even know what to do with themselves anymore! Everyone just ceases to exist since there is no more facebook.

I first used a computer at 16 years old and I hated it. At that time I couldn't imagine ever wanting to do things on a computer. At ages 18 to 19 I had to use a computer for work and I didn't like it. During my university years I hand wrote my assignments unless the lecturer said typing was essential. At the start of my teaching career the head teacher told me to learn how to get good with computers. In the half price computers for teachers I got my own computer. Slowly I learned how to use the my computer and printer. I soon was able to handle lessons in the computer suite with my class of children. Four years ago I got rid of my desk top computer and bought my laptop. I love to go on to My Lot and other sites. I would feel lost if there became a world without any computers.

I really have no clue as to what I would do. As far I can really remember, we had a family computer, at least. If I tried hard enough, I could manage to keep myself busy and such, to keep my mind off it. But I still think that I would have a hard time doing it though.

Oh my god, this is a good posting. I will be totally disabled as I rely most of my work on the computer. It's like everything will cease to exist. The good thing is as long as there's an internet cafe then it's all right. If not, I'll receive not enough money for a living. I guess I must prepare for the time when the computer shuts down like in the near future. I've read that NASA warned people to be prepared for infrastructure damages all over the world in 2012 because of sunspot's excessive glares. They say the damage will cost more than what the Katrina brought and people should not rely on govenment help as command chains will also get disrupted. The threat seems to be real. So, I'll definitely concentrate more on my offline business from now on. I'll also sell my PC and get another laptop or netbook so I can manage it better, besides laptop/netbook runs with much lower wattage. Thank you for bringing this up, Dozikas!

I don't know what I could do without computers either. My whole life revolves around my computer. I do so much school work in my computer and I play so many games in my computer. I take my computer everywhere with me. I can't imagine my life without playing the Sims.

I know. I would be so lost too without computers and internet. I guess i wouldn't know how to spend my free time anymore, without them. But it has also been a bad habit for me. I stay on the internet up late and don't want to go to sleep.

I guess it kinda depends if it is just me or not. If it is a global blackout I could probably manage by killing my neighbors fighting over dogfood(joking), but if it was just me I would like freak out. But since all of my stuff is online I would just go to the public library to find my stuff.
