I like computations and analyzing problems but my current problem is that my classmates are starting to hate me just because my professor liked me for accelerating in my Math subject. they taught that i'm nerd and that i'm a teacher's pet :(

hello xien2xien! when i was still studying, i used to hate math because i have difficulty understanding it. It was only later when i realized that that difficulty actually sprung from my biases and math is actually fun. Well, that is for now, but back then, i was allergic to math and i often envy my classmates who are really good at it. However, i don't hate them because that's their gift. I have my own gift, but now with math and i can understand how it is that you know and others don't. Well, it's not an easy situation but if you're not guilty, just let them be. They're just envious of you actually. If it's any consolation you can try sharing your knowledge with them, teaching them so at least they won't feel left out by your knowledge.

Math is a subject i managed to get through with a great deal of effort. So,anyone excelling i hold in high esteem and awe.I feel your classmates are jealous of you.I think t doesn't matter if you are teachers pet,as teachers will like only those who are good at a subject or make sincere effort.

i must say that they should not be jealous of me because they've got some talent that i don't have but i don't get jealous instead i've become their fan.

Wow, how I envy you. I'm very poor when it comes to dealing with numbers, I don't excel in this particular subjects, thus I have high regards to those who are excelling in Mathematics. Actually, you don't have to worry about your classmates hating you because you're just doing what you have to do in school and that is to study hard and excel in every subject you enrolled in. If I were you I would just ignore them and not mind what they have to say about you, as long as you're honest and you are not doing anything wrong then you're clear. I say they're just jealous because you are gaining the attention of your teachers because you are a good student. Most teachers are like that they acknowledge student who are excelling not because they want those students to be their pet but because they just want to encourage and acknowledge the efforts of those students so they would feel appreciated, and this would usually result to an excellent performance by the student.

You shouldn't mind people who are pulling you down, most of the time they're not worth your attention. So just relax and do want you have to do. Goodluck with your studies. I wish you well.

I think that you should just ignore them. They just do not have so much to do with their lives. Good for you that you like doing what others can't do. I see nothing wrong with it. I even think that it is a gift for you to have the ability to solve mathematical equations easily. You are not a teacher's pet that is for sure. Your teacher just appreciates your capabilities with that certain subject. There is nothing wrong with what you have become as long as you stay humble and just go on with your simple ways.

No need to worries. Continue doing what you like. Just remember to get socialize with others. There will be time when you'll meet someone just like you. And also those who were mocking at you, will eventually need your help. When the time comes, make sure you were there for them. Just don't live to individually. That's all I can say. Good luck with your life :)

many students have complained to the math lesson, they think it is a difficult lesson, but most anyone happy these lessons. during class lesson for those who like it do not matter, , but that does not like to feel like hell. Because you love with these lessons, they assume you do not side with your friends.

I'd probably 'hate' you too... but only because you get something that I so totally don't. I wouldn't excommunicate you for it though, and they shouldn't either. Nerds are awesome people. I'm a nerd too, but not in math, so I know what it feels like to be the hated, ignored, and excommunicated 'teacher's pet'. Don't let their opinion of you stop you from doing your best. If they can't handle your nerdiness, then they're just not good people. I have no doubt you'll find plenty of friends who love you for the nerd you are in time.

I put hate in quotes cause I wouldn't really HATE you... I'd just be insanely jealous. Like I said... no excommunication. If we were in the same class I'd probably beg you to explain everything to me. If you're classmates can't do the same, then they're just bad people. I have no doubt you'll find friends who see your strength as an extraordinary talent.

Screw what anyone else thinks and just do what you love. You'll be out of school before you know it and those people will be a distant memory and wont matter. They're probably just intimidated and threatened by your intelligence and insecure that they aren't as bright.

i just wish they could get on with their life and don't bother me again or don't hate me anymore. maybe they could do a lot better than me if they'll just try to concentrate with their studies
