Strangers can be our friends :)

When we were little kids, our parents would always remind us not to talk to strangers... but it is a good thing we did not totally listen to them... because if we did, we could never find our dear friends, just because every friend was once a stranger....
I think not all but commonly it is true and real... most of my friends really are strangers the first time we meet... have a nice day!

i remember my preparatory days on which i was too shy to talk to them, to play with them or to eat with them... also in my high school days, remembering all back when i've first introduced myself in front of many strangers and unknown people... time passes faster and then those strangers became your friends and just to think it back your friends really are strangers before you've become one..~

I think, like others, that the Do Not Talk to Strangers lecture we received as children was for safety purposes. All of my friends were once strangers, but came into my life for a purpose. When I was in Ireland, I went to a pub and there was a sign at the entrance that said, "There are no strangers here, just friends we haven't met yet." Author-Unknown I do not know whose quote that is, but it is so true.

So true friend because at one point we did not know one another so we had to start somewhere. So friending is the start of getting to know one another.
It is later that we decide if the person is right as a friend that is.

I believe our parents told us to not to talk to strangers for our security. As a child, kids doesn't know the real danger of the world. All they know is that everybody is as nice as their dad or as lovely as there mom. And when you got older, I think it's fine to talk to strangers assuming that we'll be alert and observant at all times. I myself don't talk to strangers even if I'm 20 already. Yeah i do talk but I make sure I'm careful. :)
