Bangladesh today offered total surrender to Sami, Roach and Benn to record 4th lowest score in hisyory of world cup cricket infront of their home crowd at Mirpur, Bangladesh. Bangladesh were shot out for just 58 runs in just 18.5 overs. Main destructor being Suleiman Benn, left arm slow baller who took 4 wickets for just 18 runs in 5.5 overs. The other ballers being captain Sammy who took 3 for 21 of 7 overs and roach who took 3 for 19 of 6 overs. It was a pathetic display by Bangladeshi batsmen in front of their home crowd who had packed the stadium in expectation of improved performance from their team after their good performance against Ireland. The crowd registered their protest against their home team by throwing whatever they could get hold of on the ground. Thank fully the situation did not worsen. West Indies are now 46 for 1 in 8.2 overs requiring another 12 runs to record one of their easiest wins.

ok.i dont understand the bangla boyz.
they score 280 odd runs against the number 2 team but get bundled out for 56 against the number 8th team?
doesn't make any sense considering the team doesn't have a threatening bowling line up.
well it will narrow the group b table.lets see if someone else upset england.may be then ireland can fight.

Its the extra pace of Roach which did it.Malinga, Steyn, Johnson and Roach can always be dangerous.
England is a good side and will bounce back.
Pakistan Australia West Indies India South Africa are hanging in there. Tomorrow's match is crucial for the Lankans.

One can understand Bangladesh giving in to fast ballers but what about spin. The real damage to them has been inflicted by the spinner. One can not understand the way Bangladesh, the team supposed to be strong in playing spin succumbs to tall lanky west Indian on their home ground.

Actually the match ended before even it really started. It was a real poor performance from Bangladesh and I think this will dash their quarter final aspirations. For the West Indies it has been a second good win since their defeat against West Indies. That means the Dutch and Bangladesh are more or less out of the tournament. That only leaves Ireland with a semblance of a chance to reach the quarters.
Cheers!
