A bomb threat was called into an aviation business where Scott Walker held a news conference. The man who has been detained by police was protesting at this site on days prior to the event. "An investigation continues into a bomb threat made this week at an aviation business in Eau Claire, just hours after Governor Scott Walker held a news conference there. Authorities said a 43-year-old Eau Claire man allegedly called in a threat to Heartland Aviation on Wednesday evening. The facility is next to the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in Eau Claire. The man is free on a signature bond. No charges have been filed yet, but the man is due back in Chippewa County Circuit Court on April 19th. Investigators said the man took part in public demonstrations at the airport on Monday and Wednesday. " http://www.piercecountyherald.com/event/article/id/33730/ I linked to a local paper because for some reason I couldn't find this report on MSNBC or CNN or anywhere. In fact, a search for the story turns up 16 results in "news" on Google and not one of them is a major news network. A protester calls in a bomb scare to a Scott Walker event and NO ONE reports it? This "hear no evil, see no evil, report no evil" attitude when it comes to the left is getting out of hand. They have a duty to report a bomb scare. One day, their lack of reporting important information is going to get someone hurt. .

But they arent winning, what do you expect. This is the perfect neanderthal response and the MSM continues to encourage this behavior. For the love of all that is holy, these are government workers. Time to cut the strings and see if they can make it in the real world.

In the spirit of diversity and social justice, I think the Neanderthal slur was really unfair to Neanderthals. As far as I know, Neanderthal worked very hard at survival and didn't expect special treatment, nor did he stage protests demanding that Cro Magnon stop doing a better hunting job than he did and demand more mammoths than he actually earned.

I'm not entirely sure what's going on. Now, I'm not a news expert by any stretch of the imagination. But I know that a lot of stories need local coverage first to get picked up nationally. And it's usually there that the big cable networks and print publications go wild with it and keep us in the "know" - letting us in on if it's a legitimate threat, if it's possibly terrorism, if it's serious, if people are safe, etc. So I'll guess that the story was pretty much smothered locally and local news crews sent it out over the wire that it wasn't anything to be pressed about. I don't know if that's the case. I would just rather believe that some local union-siding small-time outfit would play politics with such a story and not that larger outfits were aware of it and just didn't cover it. I mean, my mind goes half mad to think of the continuing coverage of "Right-wing radical calls in bomb threat at Stewart's sanity rally." I've been sleeping all day, though, so I'm taking your word for it that it hasn't been covered. Usually I'll switch around and watch various news channels from 4 to 9 or so. A bomb threat to a governor is a major story. It has to be. A guy calling Obama a socialist gets 100 hours of play, ffs.

I saw the story first in a tweet from a right wing blog. I then researched it myself on the net, and came up with only local sources covering the story. I went to several news networks' sites online and searched there. Nothing. The story is as it was reported on the blog according to the local outlets, but no national media picked it up at all. I read once about a guy who threatened a telephone bill collector that he'd come down to his office and beat him up or something. He got arrested on a terrorism charge. This guy is out on $3000 bond. Huh? For a bomb scare? One reason that a called-in bomb threat is serious even if there is no bomb is simply the man-power involved in searching the premises, etc. This is enough to get the police and the judicial system pi$$ed at you and they don't send you home on a promise you won't do it again. The only coverage I have found is on the Fox site with a link back to the blog where I first saw it. This is the most complete local coverage I have found: http://www.wqow.com/Global/story.asp?S=14180472

What do you expect from the lame street media? If it was a TEA Party person who even mentioned a bomb it would be Front page 24/7. Knowing how these things usually go this man will get a slap on the wrist.

As far as I know, they didn't find a bomb, but calling in a bomb threat is still a serious crime. Even a threat can be considered terrorism these days. So it's unbelievable that no one considers this news.

Wow, I just checked myself and not even Fox News covered it. That's just odd...

Tonight I saw it in the ticker at the bottom of the screen on Fox, but no special report and of course the regular opinion shows were on. I turned the channel to a movie, so I don't know if they will or did actually cover the story. Very odd...

The propoganda machine has already declared him the enemy. If they reported this, people might rethink things and actually be appalled at the goings on in Wisconsin. Then what? No more sympathy for the protesters, no more fighting and no more mob rule. It might put a dent in the plans they have for us if we all actually started talking to one another without hating one another.

The coverage on this is all local, mostly local papers and news stations. It's an amazing thing to know that the media will simply ignore those things they don't want to report. The news is manufactured and packaged.
