Do You Feed the Soul????

Everyone carries their own view in life. God places people around us who have our missing pieces to fill in what we can not see. The interaction brings learning and growing. Let me tell you about what the true love of my life allowed me to see. They were having a local food drive for the food bank which feeds homeless and hungry people. She would buy her stuff and I would buy mine. I bought bags of dried rice and beans. My thinking was that I could feed more people with my dollar. When my gal showed up, to my surprise, she was going to donate coffee. Coffee?? Coffee?? Has she lost her mind!!! Who are you going to keep alive with coffee??? Her answer brought a different view into light. She said people who are poor and hungry often feel down, with no hope. She wanted to donate something that was not just going to keep them alive but to feed their souls. She has a good point. Maybe a nice warm cup of coffee might be a luxury that could make a person feel special. People who feel special often march in a positive direction. Marching in a positive direction always brings better results. I must remember to not only work on a person's mind, I must work on their soul as well. Feed the souls of people. Do you feed your soul and the soul of others?? What do you feed, Hope,a Positive Outlook, Encouragement, Love, Kindness, Happiness???? We are all spiritual Beings. Without these in our souls, could we ever achieve Greatness????
