Guys, what's your normal body temperature? you might said 37 or 36.5 in celcius or about 98 in fahrenheit. but some people have different normal body temp. you might be surprise. mine is actually also kinda unique, its 35 celcius or 95 fahrenheit. people who touch me usually kinda shock, they though i'm cold. my good friend even compare me with vampire (coz at that time vampire movies was booming). hahaha^^ well, i wonder if there's someone out there who's also have uniqueness like me^^

My normal body temperature is lower than average, too, but not as low as yours. Mine runs around 97.7 Fahrenheit. When it gets up to 99, I have a fever. I suppose there are a lot of variations, since I think 98.6 is an average.

hi julise I am normal at 97 and have always been that way so if I have a temp of 99 I am running a low grade fever. I bet there are others who are below 98 too and still are healthy.I have never found my body cold just because I am below 98.6. I don't think you have anything to be concerned with unless you have some sort of running illness. some of us just did not read the medical book on what normal temps are. he he.

Body temperature is a measure of the body's ability to generate and get rid of heat. The body is very good at keeping its temperature within a narrow, safe range in spite of large variations in temperatures outside the body. When you are too hot, the blood vessels in your skin expand (dilate) to carry the excess heat to your skin's surface. You may begin to sweat, and as the sweat evaporates , it helps cool your body. When you are too cold, your blood vessels narrow (contract) so that blood flow to your skin is reduced to conserve body heat. You may start shivering, which is an involuntary, rapid contraction of the muscles. This extra muscle activity helps generate more heat. Under normal conditions, this keeps your body temperature within a narrow, safe range. Most people think of a "normal" body temperature as an oral temperature of 98.6F. This is an average of normal body temperatures. Your temperature may actually be 1°F (0.6°C) or more above or below 98.6F. Also, your normal body temperature changes by as much as 1°F (0.6°C) throughout the day, depending on how active you are and the time of day.
