Are there strange sports on your country / region?

Hi! I'd like to know strange local sports or habits that take place in your region or country. In my region, called Aosta Valley, in North-West of Italy, every year took place the battle of cows. Cows must be pregnant and they fight. Habitants of my region decided to let fight all the stronger cows and see which is the stronger, called the "reina" (the queen). It's a long tradition and every autumn the final took place in Aosta. What happen in your country?
