HI! I'd like to know if there is a place you visited or not that you would like to live in and why and if there are countries you haven't liked at all and why.

Well, honestly, I would like to stay pretty much either in hongkong or USA for which I like to try new places and I have seen hongkong already and its really a beautiful country, all was an easy access to other places using just an octopus card to all transportation vehicles.

I've never been in Hongkong. I'd like to visit it. From the photos I saw on tv or web it seems to be a very modern country.

I would very much like to move to Savannah, Georgia (USA). I grew up not too far from there, and Savannah is an awesome city. Savannah is rich in culture and history. The beaches are nice, and there is always something interesting going on somewhere in the city. I would also be closer to my family if I could move to Savannah...

Interesting. I'm looking some photos on internet. I think it's a nice place. And then the city where you grow up is always loved.

I feel very at home when I travel to Australia. In my twenties I did plan to emigrate there but it didn't happen. It is a long way from my family and friends. Airfares are expensive and if I had gone there I wouldn't have been to pop back to England all that often. Also I wouldn't have had as many opportunities for overseas travel that I have had by staying in England. I really liked New Zealand when I visited it at age 28 years old. I wondered if I should emigrate there but taking to Brits that had emigrated there five years earlier put me off. There standard of living was high but they got less wealth the longer they stayed there. They couldn't afford to go back to England to visit family and friends. At first it had seemed like a dream and then the lower wages had a knock of affect with their finances. I have been to more than fifty different countries and I haven't been to any country that I haven't liked. I hated a city that I went to in Sumatra, Indonesia called Medan. It was dirty, ugly, busy and noisy. However it was a useful jumping off point to see the wild orangutans in the wild.

WOW! You traveled a lot! I understand, Australia and New Zealand are very far from Britain. My cousin went there 2 years ago for some months. He liked it but he prefer Europe.

Hi Mat, There's no other place I loved to live than my very own hometown. I've been to a lot places but still, I always go home to a lot of memories and happy reunions. It may be a small house, it may be a dirt road, it may be a forest but the happiness and freedom associated with it cannot be exchanged for all the majesty of the world's greatest palaces and gardens. Definitely, I cannot abide to be in a country where oppression, war and anarchy abounds.

Hi! So you prefer your own hometown. Yes, I understand, nothing is like to be at home. I like when I come back from a journey and met my family and my friends and share with them what I saw abroad.

I wouldn't mention any countries that I do not like. But I'd like to share those I do like. For one I'd like to live in Australia, love the idea of having lots of cows around and that means lots of milk. In Canada I also like to migrate there knowing there are lots of job opportunities in there. In the US, also great! And England too, I really love the accent and is also learning to speak the British way. Haven't been there. Hoping someday I will. :)

Ahah, come to my region. There are a lot of cows. Think about that in my region there is the cow fighting...I started a discussion about strange habits and sports. I live in Aosta Valley, North - West of Italy.

I have had the good fortune of traveling to beautiful countries in different parts of the world. They are all very unique in their own ways, in deed. One country which I found so beautiful, so fascinating, is Switzerland. Beautiful Swiss Alps ! That would the country I'd like to live in if I have the choice !

Hi friend! I live in Italy but very close to Switzerland. I live in the Southern part of Alps. Have you seen Matterhorn? I live only 20 km from it. Come to Italian Alps if you have the possibility.

If I were to go to Greece, I would like to stay there for a year or more. I would love to learn more about their history, culture and food. hehehe... I have been to Malaysia a couple of times and it seems a nice place to live in. I would like to explore their jungles and beaches. I wouldn't get homesick since it is near my home country. So far, I haven't been to a country that I didn't like. The countries I have been to gave me some good memories to remember them by and made me think to come back and visit them again.

Well if you want to live a simple life go to the country side. The fresh air the calming sound of the birds and the tress, it's very relaxing. My papa told me that he wants to spend his "old days" in a farm free from all the noise and the busy city life. Growing in a city really makes me disagree to that but now that I'm not as young back then I'd just realize the importance of being in a calm and soothing place that makes you relax and forget everything. If you happen to go to the Philippines try to go to "GUMASA" Sarangani Province. It's a white sanded beach and the locals are very nice and accommodating although there are some resorts the place i might say is very untouched a very nice place to relax.

I live in the Alps. In my region I have the relax and the good air, but I prefer to live in the city. Cities offer much cultural and enjoy opportunities. mmm...You make me wish to be to Gumasa. I saw some photos on internet: wonderful!
