Does cosmetic surgery do harm to the society?

i am weird how u have such ideals .Xd

I feel it harms the individual more than the society.Some cosmetic surgeries could go terribly wrong having harmful effect on the individual.If the individual contributes to the well being of society i would say it effects society.Otherwise i don't foresee harmful effect on society as a result of cosmetic surgery.
