Yuvraj Singh has followed the path of Afridi from flamboyant batsman to reliable strike baller. Yuvraj sing today put up an excellent balling display bybagging five wickets for just 31 runs of 10 overs while other spinners Harbhajan and Chawla went wicket less. While Harbhajan Singh did his bit by controlling the run rate giving just 29 runs of 9 overs, Chawla was hammered to all corners of the ground. He gave whooping 56 runs of 8 overs he balled. I can't understand why Dhoni persisted with him while Harbhajan could not complete his quota. The Ireland did well to score 207 runs after being 2 down with just 9 runs on board both the wickets being claimed by Zaheer Khan. THe target of 208 runs to India looks small but this is cricket you never know. As is famously said the match is not over until the last ball is balled and last run is scored.

I think it just matter of luck or so...... yuvraj is not the best bowler he is just a part time and he can;t work in crucial situation and we had seen in past. I think he should concertae on batting and left bowling mare apart.
Why the bay what he did against south africa?????????

Yes, slow pitches really work out for him as he is a real slow left armer. I think his bowling on such pitches is a real plus. But for me it was his application while batting that gave the maximum joy. As he is really the key in the middle order and his form augurs well for India's aspiration in this world cup.
Cheers!
Ram
