does parents knows best for their children?

i really wanna ask this thing, if parents really knows whats best for their children? i was just wondering. They send us to school , taught us the do's and dont's , spend for our needs, usually choose the course for us... and sometimes didnt even bothered to ask us if we really love that course? And after we've done our schooling, we need to find a job not only for ourselves but for our family or parents too...when i graduated college i immediately started to work and now it's been 3 months i just dont have work..its like they keep on pushing me into something which i dont want... i kept on following them... im 24 and i guess i need also time ... i know sometimes im lazy.. but can't they wait to let me find the job that i want and not always keep ob pushing me?
