A new strategy for Marketplace

Since the new upfront system came in, I've been going to Helium Marketplace, then filtering the search through my favourite writing channels to find titles to write to. It's worked pretty well up to now, but during the last few days, I've seemed to spend a lot of time looking for titles I fancy. Today, I decided to try a different strategy. I just started going through the HMP pages as they came up. I got to page 8, found a title I liked - which was in Business, which is not one of my channels of choice - wrote the article, then went back and started where I left off. I've found 4 titles to write to today using this strategy, whereas yesterday, I struggled to find two, using the supposedly time-saving method of filtering titles. I'm going to carry on like this, I think, because it's possible to uncover some surprises along the way, and I like surprises. The bottom line is, I've found, researched and written 4 titles to HMP today in less time than it took me to find, research and write two titles yesterday. It's probably not logical, but then, neither am I. Do you have a preferred method of finding HMP titles to write to? Have you changed your original strategy for title finding? Or do you not bother with Marketplace anyway?
