Hi allknowing! I think this is a spillover of the past oppression of women and they still carry this chip on their shoulder about getting 'equal' status with men.Personally I feel, that they are none the less, are more powerful than men becasue they are blessed in their own way. If they so decide, they can definitely do better things than men.Few of them decide. THe other percentage talk a lot.People who perform do not speak much.

It is the question of being in grooves. It is time women got out of their grooves and keep for them a goal which they can achieve and believe you me that goal could be miles and miles away from the one they feel contented to achieve viz trying to be equal with men!

It is time women realised that they are cut up for better things and not just what men have achieved. When this realisation dawns men will have to also get out of their grooves' and try and compete with women instead!

What is wrong if women demand equality with men? I do not feel so. Women are spreading their wings in every field and therefore, they want equality with men, this is what I believe.

Let them raise their bar dpk and not be content being equal to men. 
And when they do that they will realise that this world will be lifted to a different high.

With all due respect, I think that these women just wants to be treated fairly when it comes to work or among the public. They just want equal rights for men and women alike.
Long time ago, women are just housewives. They cannot participate on certain occasions e.g. election and the likes. So they just want some equal participation and they want their voices to be heard.

Equal rights will not let them prove their true colours. Women have it in them to excel in what men have hitherto not attempted. Having said this why be satisfied when the woman gets 'equal' status!

why do you say women who fight for equality with men have no ambition at all? I think only ambition leads women to fight for equality with men.
Women certainly have their own standard,they just want to be fair treated,and never think of doing the same job as men for equality,i guess what you see just coincidence...
