Black Labs in the malls and offices

My loneliness is killing me these past few days it’s like 2 months already since the last time I went home and saw my dogs... Sigh... And it’s getting worst as I see black labs every day at work and at the mall. But it makes me sad as I can no longer hold them because they already have a sign that they can’t be touched since one of the dogs (not a lab) bitten an employee working in our building when she tried to touch the dog.
And I’m sad to look at the face of the dogs and the way their handlers are taking care of them. It’s like they don’t have the enthusiasm to be inside the malls or buildings anymore and some of them are like too tired to stand because I think the dogs are already exhausted and working hours after hours...
I just hope they can be touched again to see the light in their faces and eyes... Labs are very caring dogs and playful and it’s as if every time I walk by past one, he sniffs in the air and looks at me and I think that dog remembers that I played with him before (I can’t help touch and play them hehehe) and his look is killing me...
I miss my Marco... Hope you guys are with your dogs or pets right now to cuddle and play with them. Any mylotters who’s gone through my situation?

The most similar situation that I've ever been in is shortly after I got my dog, Michela, who is 11 years old now. I had her for about a month before I started my sophomore year of college. I wasn't allowed to take her with me to the dorm and during the week when I was away from her it was really hard on me because I've always had pets. However, it was great to get to spend time with her on the weekend when I could play with her and walk her and enjoy her companionship.
