It is very clear that Piyush Chawla has not been able to deliver the goods during last two matches. So Dhoni must be thinking about his replacement. In that case should he do any sort of experiments in the next match against Netherlands? If the experiment is going to be successful, then also I really do not think that it can be considered. As this team of Netherlands is not so good team, the performance against such a weak team should not have that high value except that it will bring confidance among the bowlers and it will give some sort of match practice which is very much needed for such a high rated tournament.

Hi deserve, A war is a war. Whoever taken the opposite for granted they lost. I do not think India should do any experiment or anything silly now. Look what has happened to Pakistan. They thought they would make an easy sail against New Zealand and now seeing the the door slammed on their face. Piyush should not be played in the rest of the games and the team needs mote time to devout on fielding. Things would be tougher henceforth that reminds them that one big mistake would slip away your hand.

Hello krajibg Its all about world war there is no chance that we could take any game easily. You have given some strong points but still i have to say that India must go for some replacement. We do not have any doubt about Zahir and Harbhajan's ability so India could give them some rest and along with that can test the reserve bench! Piyush is pathetic! But i believe he should get one more chance to prove himself. So if India drops down Harbhajan then we can go with 2 other spinners ...Raina should get a chance as well! but the question is whom should be dropped?

Yes, the problem is who would be or should be dropped. Had I been the Captain I would pick up one bowler and one bats man to see how they tackle. Or there is no other way.

I agree with you both that India cannot take chances but the thing is that even if some changes are brought in and even if they are successful, can we rate that success at par with the success with teams like South Africa or England or even West Indies for that case? I do not really feel that if Piyush is successful with Netherlands, then also that should encourage the captain to pick him up against South Africa.

Exactly its gonna be a match practice for India. Netherlands is one of the weakest team in this championship. I think India could afford some replacement in this match. We are eying for the cup so its very important that reserve bench should be ready as well

Sure...! I agree with you that Indian reserve players should be ready. This is a long tournament and anything may happen in between...We have example of Kevin Peterson, he is not available for the whole turnament now..! So now England has to use her bench strength.
