Watching the installation of a new Windows OS is quite the experience.

Very educational. I remember when the teachers first got computers in their classroom, it was Windows 95 computers. We weren't allowed to be on computers, there were no computers for students but that would come later in the year. Well one day, instead of having class, we got to watch our teachers in the fifth grade, install Windows 98 on the computers. That was quite an experience. It just is interesting to see the process of installing a brand new operating system on the computer, as opposed to seeing one that was preinstalled. I went through the same experience personally with XP. Windows 7 already came preinstalled on my computer. Of course there can be some issues if its not done properly, as my teacher found out and had to call the school technician.

Learning by doing is always a great thing. In fact, you have a good idea about how it really works much better by doing it. If its all installed, there is only so much a book can tell you. In fact, with anything, there is only so much a book can tell you. There is really no replacement for experience and there is a really good experience. Thanks for responding. It is appreciated. Have a nice day.
