The way Kamran Akmal was not willing to catch any thing in todays match, it really looked like something was wrong there.. He was making such childish mistakes and never really tried to catch and hold on to some of the opportunity he got.. and some of those were really easy.. He also has not done a great deal with the bat in his hand.. What do you think ..?Can it be a case of match fixing..?I am suspiciousness because the team is Pakistan..

I would say, certainly "Yes". Last week we played a cricket tournament, where I got a chance to bowl after 2-3 years. I am not a very good player but I could bowl pretty okay, as I was bowling after 2-3 years, I didn't try to bowl yorkers in the first few overs and if you try to bowl in right areas at low pace, you will be able to do that, after 2-3 overs, I tried a few yorkers where I got hit for a few boundaries and got 2 wickets also. So someone like me who has nothing to think about Cricket for years and who has practiced nothing, can bowl like this then what do you think of "Shoaib Akhtar" (No comparison)? If anyone has any doubt in his bowling ability check the youtube video "Great yorkers". You've bowled 8 good overs and when you go to bowl your 9th over, you start bowling wides and waist height full toss and that too 3-4...that was just BS...these people should not play for their country, he and Razzak both of them bowled purposefully in that manner. Yes, Ross Taylor is a good batsman but I can bet there is not any batting pair that can score 100 runs in 29 balls against Pakistan bowling attack. They should allow the minor teams to play in next world cup but they should not allow this Pakistan team in next world cup. Kamran Akmal is doing it purposefully, he was caught in that scandal but got away because of his strong sources. Shame on these people selling their country...

First of all I want to say, "A bad mind, A bad disposition". I think you must look towards those shamfull people too who are selling their countries too by tieing on 338 which was already said by Shane Warn before match. Also look towards England wholesale too who was unable to defend 328 from a minnow team. Look towards Mighty South Africa too who sold their mother land by not chasing just 174. This is not like what you are claiming, So do not try to overshadow wonder boy knock which was the key of that match.

I am sorry, if I've hurt anyone's emotions. I am a cricket loving fan and I don't go by nations, "isloooboy", I've answered your questions in another discussion. I agree Ross Taylor can hit 60 odd runs against any bowling attack and that's why he could hit those sixes but didn't you see those last two overs? Please read my last comment, I've explained the reason as well. Let's wait and watch...only time will be able to tell us truth...no doubt, I could be wrong...

Dear Dollar3235, Was this match fixed? No one knows. But can Ross Taylor hit 60 odd runs in 16balls...Yes Of course he can. H has done it before. It does not matter which attack it is. Pakistan bowling attack is good, but not the best in the word. A Newzealand batting line up can take it apart. When a batsmen finds form, bowlers end up suffering. But to call it a fixed match without proper proof... will not be the best of ideas...!!! Cricket is a funny game.. One cannot expect a team to win everything. Let us give credit to the people who deserve it.. Well played Ross Taylor. He capitalized on the chances that were given to him...Good for him...!!! Share tour views... Balu.

Whenever Kamran Akmal plays, this question will always remain. He is so lousy behind the wickets that it is impossible to see him as an international wicket keeper. I do not think the player fixes the match, but someone in the selectors has fixed the matches, that is why they keep picking up Kamran Akmal. If you see his performance over the past two years it is really shocking. Cheers! Ram

I can't really say whether it was a case of match fixing but the mistakes committed by Kamran Akmal were so glaring that he does not deserve a place in Pakistan team for that matter not even in Associate member team as a wicket keeper. He had not been that bad a couple of years back. The case deserves to be properly investigated for match fixing. New Zealand team was really on their knees when he let off Ross Taylor, not one but twice and both straight forward catches. Pakistan can not afford to win matches with such keeper.
