How to Track Google Adsense Clicks?

With all the time I've spent as a scripter/ web designer, when thing I haven't been able to figure out is how I could track my ads via script at least every 24 hours. I'v heard there is way to do it with Google Analytics, but I needed it so I'm able to login to my site as admin and be able to see the Google Adsense earnings? Any ideas on how to do that? Does Google provide an API? Remember script not manually...
