everyone of us loves to travel, to go to different places and explore shop, take pictures and even relax... it's like a break to be in another place right? but for there's no place like home ... where i used stay , be with my love ones , and of course a place which i consider as a comfort zone for me... i have lots of dream place to go.. but really, i could not compare my own homw town in other places i've been ... yeah, they're more wonderful and amzing but time after time , i still went back to my homw town to have even just a day vacation...

I love to see different sites and places across the world. But, I think your right when you talk about the hometown. I still love to visit my hometown more than any other country in the world, mainly because there are so many childhood memories that occurred there.

I love my home and feel happy here. It is a bungalow with a kitchen, lounge, a wet room and three bedrooms. I moved there last year for my disabled toddler son's mobility needs. It is going to have a wheelchair ramp put in. It is so wonderful for my son to now have a downstairs bedroom and a disabled access shower in the wet room. Even though I adore my home my top hobby is traveling to different countries in the world. When I go on my travels I stay in locally owned guest houses and unusual accommodation. My favorite countries that I have been to are Samoa, Australia, New Zealand, Belize and Guatemala. The best cities that I have been to are Sydney, Cape Town, Vancouver and Cartagena De Indias.

Since my family moved when I was young, there really isn't a sense of 'hometown' for me. However, I have moved away from my home state, lived in another state for 4 years, and another for a month. After being away for 4 1/2 years, I was so excited to be moving back to my home state........but, once I got back, it really didn't have that feeling of home for me. I am thinking of moving again, just haven't decided where this time.

It can be fun and exciting to go new places and see new sights and do new things. Still, i dont think there is anything as comforting as coming back home. Home is where the heart is!

Hi yenseyer I am still in my home town which actually a big city. I can't imagine living anywhere else outside of here. I am contemplating moving to another state but have not done so and feel that although I have not left I find I am missing already. I do not think in the new state I would adapt as well as when I was here in my hometown. I suppose it is because I am so accustomed here and all my family and friends are here. Welcome to you to myLot as I see you are fairly new!
