Tell me about Yourself

Telling about yourself or simply describing yourself seems so simple. When someone professional asks you to tell something about yourself, how will you answer that could make him/her realize that you're worthy of a job or in anything?

If you're on a job interview it's like selling yourself. say everything you can do, describe yourself the best way of your capabilities, don't lie just to be perfect in their eyes. at the end just say you won't know my capabilities and skill unless you hired me. give me a chance to prove my worth and i'll do everything to be an asset of your company and not a liability.

When i ask about this.. I always start with my personality then second about the things or experiences that you learned in the past that are related to the job that you are applying..and next I always end it with my dreams and things that you want to learn..

When describing yourself in a job interview, make sure to make it positive and honest. Sell or promote yourself but don't brag about yourself. Tell then what qualities you possess that would make you an asset to their company. You can say some basic things you enjoy and a little bit of background especially your educational background and work experience.

Always begin with something about your likes and dreams. Some job interviewer would like to know if you have goals in life. Tell them you are mostly like anybody else but little difference such as your are more hardworking and with goals to reach. Simple goals is enough. Do not tell them about your personal life. If you want tell them your relationship with your parents, this will be a gauge to see how a responsible people you are and how much being in a solid foundation or group you can make you achieve something. Hope these will help.

Well just state your strong points and your achievements in life. Perhaps you could also tell him how you cope up with problems in office or even in life. But make sure that it will boost your image but would not appear as bragging.
