how to effect the petroleum products in human body

Hi dears,
I think that working in a petroleum field in a long time,is not good for our health. Anybody know that how to affect that the smelling of petroleum products (petrol,diesel etc...)at a long time in our body

hi there.
i really think so too because it just doesn't smell good. and i really hate the smell every time we go to a gas station. but yeah i think it really does have a very harmful effect to our system.
