Demolition Derby

I am worried. Today I sat in my planning meeting and agreed the destruction of a home and highway. Personally I began the demolition process and got the earth moving to cover the road including the blocking of a lengthy tunnel that went right into the next block. Rattus Rattus has been given his marching orders! No longer will he treat my compost bin as a luxury edible apartment block. But now I feel like a real old meanie. He was annoying but not dangerous. Now he's homeless and it's all down to me! How's your angst level today?

I didn't know Rattus' used tunnels. Sounds more like moleus or voleus to me. You did better than the slum lords that just let the neighborhood fall into decrepitude. Fret not. Rattus (or whomever) has already moved into other digs. No angst here. I'm cool.

My angst levels are reasonably low today! I did have a similar problem with my large compost pile. The rats really love it in there and even after blocking all the access points to it, they still manage to get in there. Perhaps they actually bred in there? Every time I go near the compost now, our dog has to be right there ready to catch any rodents that might escape. Even if I am 5 metres away hanging clothes on the line or working out on my gym set which is in the same area, she has to be there ready! She has this mental association with me being in tat part of the yard and rats! I have not seen any in a while and am not even sure if there are any in there anymore. Perhaps the dog can smell them?

I've thought about borowing a dog. The local cats are useless; they never seem to catch the rats. The Boss saw it today so it's still about.

Don't worry, Rattus Rattus has no right to live anywhere. They are dirty, disease ridden and very scarey. Be proud you have rid yourself of them.

I knew there must be a use for you other than understanding the rubbish I talk.

Today is a week from when I was discharged from the rehab hospital. guess my knee is getting much better now. so my morale is up and am feeling sorry for a rat? oh my well he can find another home surely but not in your compoost bin. lol.Good Luck hope Rattus decides on a different home. lol. I was just thinking of real planning committees and how my mom's old home was taken over by the University of Arizona to add onto 'the U and if it had happend several years before they would have p aid her three times the market value of the hbome. She wou d have then been on easy street.

My angst level today is to mellow and slide by the entire day. Don't have any major roles and or decisions to make today. Don't feel like a meanie, perhaps with time all will work out.

Passed a pet food shop today. It had a sign in the window that read: Got squirrels? We've got peanuts for them. And the thought that went through my head as I read it: Are they poisoned?

My rat didn't even have the decency to wash up the plate after he'd eaten the poison that I'd put on it two days ago. Ingrate! LOL.
