Facebook is rapidly growing and today lots of fake accounts daily created and hacking is a threat..as of today. Also the applications from private companies are increasing and these are using our contact info and might be selling that to the advertising companies...those advertising companies might spam us and make our life a bit uneasy....this is as per the yahoo news i followed....what do u think abt this and will facebook officials have a concern on this....

True it is rapidly growing on a daily basis. As members it is our responsibility to try and safe guard as much as we can. Certain things that sound to good to be true usually are. Way too many people are issuing way too much personal information on FaceBook causing them to be vulnerable to malice. Although we can safe guard as much as possible at times we are still unprotected. So I believe face book is trying to keep it under control with all the upgrades but unfortunately the malice also continues to upgrade also.

Well, it's still up to you to decide what info to put in Facebook and what info to keep to yourself. I, for example, wuold never put my phone number or the address of my house, bu I also saw many people adding those infos, too... I think it's always better to play safer and avoid to write sensitive data. ;)
