Hi dear Mylot friends: I love these movies when a boy or a girl decide to travel to find the person they love. Maybe because they want to experiment new experiences, meet different cultures or maybe because the one they've loved has gone away and they'd like to recover him/her.
I haven't done this in my life but it should be an amazing situation, to say good bye to your routine and travel looking for your love. What about you guys, Have you made a trip to someone's heart? Do you know someone that has traveled looking for the one he/she loves? Thanks for your answers.

It's nice to know people wants like this idea. Some individuals if they won't find their destiny girl/boy in the are where they live, they will travel another places to find their dream girl or boy. For me it's a little similar because I travel to far distance from my town to find a girl whom I will marry. I am now married to her.

amante, whenever i go out of kingdom, i tend to find my match don't know though if those were love or just lust.. until now am still single but has a lot of experience.. wish i could find my true love soon and get married for a lifetime partnership.. god willing

I read a book called 'Around the World in 80 Dates'. The lady traveled to many different countries meeting men that she had arranged to meet in advance. She wanted to find her ideal man. Before her trip she had hand picked the men that she thought on paper looked and sounded like a possibility. She did find an excellent man but didn't stay with him. Off she went to carry on looking for her ideal man. At the end of her trip she felt that she had fallen in love with the excellent man. So off she went back to the country he lived in to be with him. Yes, she found true love.

after i broke up with my ex (she dumped me) way back then, i packed my bags and went to the province with the hopes of meeting someone who would make heart beat again..lol! but the fact that i wandered from one place to another spending almost five years, i ended up with flings and a lot of one-night stands, and never found what i am looking for.

You really do like Brittany. I can see where some would actually do this. We virtually do the impossible when it comes to love. I have not traveled far for love actually.
Sometimes we really have to take a hard look around us and be amazed how love is so close, somehow we think it may be really far when in fact it may not be.

Even if I were younger, I probably still wouldn't do that. Like you say, that's the movies. Someone has to work to bring in money so they can travel, right?
It will be too much for me to take to re-learn cultures, find job and find love. I guess I am boring.

. But I think that after working it would be a nice experience to find a way, maybe on vacations to take the risk and make a trip to another country or city and look for someone. I know, it's too unrealistic but I find it very romantic at the same time.

That sounds so romantic. But unfortunately, I haven't done anything as experimental as that and no one has done that for me yet. Still, I'm hoping that someday, something as exciting as that would happen to me. Well, if the circumstances permit. As of now, such things are quite out of my reach especially with my busy schedule, not much of a social life and not much chance to travel the world.

Hi penrockerchic: This happend to me too. Routine is necessary, specially when you don't have another way to earn money but you lose part of the excitement of living. I have always dreamed about the possibility of meeting someone from another country, visiting different places all around the world an dof course be happy.
