Trac Phone vs Traditional Cell Phone Plan

In my house we are not big on using the phone anytime but , out of necessity have been considering we might need to invest in a cell for whoever is out and away from the house. We have been considering the trac phone because it looks like it is a pay as you go, for only what you need system but then wonder...would a traditional cell plan be more practical. Anyone who can help define the differences between the 2? At most the hone would be used within a 10-15 mile radius of home and for likely no more than 1-2 sort calls per month

For that little usage, I would definately go with the tracphone. I have a trac phone, and I put $10 a month on it and thats plenty for me, and I use the phone more than 1-2 times a month. So, for you, Im sure that would be better. That way, you are not paying $30, $40, even $50 per month for just two short calls! A regular cell phone plan will run you about that much.

look at nextel and cingular prepaid these are the best
