Men make more money then Women

Firstly, let me say, that I am extremely for the equality of genders. Saying which one is better is like if a child asks their mom, which do you love more, me or my sibling. The answer is, they are both equal, but they both still have different strengths and weaknesses. So, to the main point I'm going after. I've heard plenty of times, in anger, women saying how disgusting it is that Men make more money then Women do. I think it's just nuts that they're upset about this. There are general reasons why it happens. The first reason, and the biggest, is because women get pregnant. When a woman gets pregnant, she often gives up years of work, if not just greatly reducing the number of hours she works, and this leads to smaller raises. It only makes sense, I mean, which is more important in this world, raising a new life, or working for giant companies? A new life is far more important. Another reason is because (on average) women are more kind and merciful, where men are more greedy and demanding. A woman will more often go after what she really wants to do, then demand more money for it, where a guy just wants to be the best, the alpha male, so they're willing to beat others down, beat them out, and demand more from their bosses. So, if women want to be making as much money as men, then they have to get their tubes tied, or perhaps completely removed to stop their cycles as well, and they have to be more greedy and demanding to their bosses. Then, the amount of money they make would be equal to men on average..... but is that really the way they want to be going?

Actually, women are now earning more, mostly due to the fact that more are graduating from school. Here is just one of the many articles written on the subject, if you are interested: http://www.dailyfinance.com/story/careers/young-single-women-earn-more-than-men/19616664/

It does seem to be a still ongoing problem. I don't have the answers as to why. More women today are doing much better then before it appears. Tying their tubes? Really? That being the case there will be less and less families and not necessarily more money though. I say how about the families work together regardless of who makes more and figure out how they as a family can grow and perhaps less people worrying about who makes more. I guess it would way too much for harmony, if we lived in a perfect world. *sad*

May be in the real time men can make much money than women but in the Internet , women can earn more because they can be in Home always but as men can't be there in Home always

Oh, please! I'm highly trained for my profession, working on my master's degree, not planning to have any children, and employers still aren't willing to pay me as much as they pay some of my male friends or give me the opportunities they get.

Could you please be more specific about why the employers aren't willing you pay you as much as they pay the men? Is that direction simply more common where you're from? How long have you been working for this company? How much do you push your greed and want to try and get more out of the company? I'd really like to know how what you're talking about could happen...

I'm not even talking about particular employers (I'm my own employer at the moment), I'm talking about all employers I've ever worked for. I have male friends that have the same profession as me and make considerably more money. This could be all my fault, I grant you that. But this happens to countless female friends/ former colleagues of mine. I know brilliant women who have to start their career working as secretaries and get stuck in that position for years even though they are over-qualified for the job. And, by the way, most women in my country work, they can't afford not to, and it's still required of them to take care of home, family, etc. And this doesn't mean they don't do their job just as well as any man. Or better in many cases. My mother is a career woman and has been a fine mother to me. Motherhood didn't stop any of the women I've admired in my life (teachers, professors, friends) to have wonderful careers. To pay somebody less because they can/will get pregnant is discrimination. I also think that in a marriage men and women should be equally involved in taking care of the home/family. Society should encourage that.

men do have a lot of income compared to women, here is because gender equality has not been running properly. we see that the important position of the majority of large companies dominated by men.

"..... but is that really the way they want to be going?" Nope. Not this woman at least. Stick me in a kitchen and call me a homemaker. I'd rather be a happy wife and mother than rich. I hope I can have both, and I do have more dreams than just getting married and being a Mom... but honestly if I had to give up a dream then it would be the career. I'm the kind of "back-thinking" girl that feminists can't stand. lol
