American Dream!!!

Hello to my fellow mylotters am from the Caribbean ,Jamaica to be exact i have never travel outside my country before.However since growing a i always hear people talking about going to America so that they can live the American dream.
Here in Jamaica people have to get Visa to travel to American,it is hard to get when one apply.
Today i was talking to my friend online an she was telling me that she want to live the American dream.Some day she would love to visit so that she can live the American dream.
I know that every where in the world have crises,Some countries might have more job than some. I have been hearing so much about American dream,but what is it really?
What is the American dream really all about?

It is the land of opportunity, lol.. Because I was born and raised in IL, I can't say that other places are not as ideal. All I can say is based on what many say it is a place where more opportunity is available.
So perhaps if I had not lived here I could relate. But true many find it to be a dream. I say tell her not to give up on her dream and plan to someday vacation, with carefully planning of course and live out her dream.

Well i sure tell her that,yes i know it's a place full of opportunity. an trust me alot of people have that dream to still go to american an make some of them self weather by work are study.
But for the Caribbean island, we have to get a visa to go to America.its kind a difficult for them to get the visa because most of people go their they don't come back home.
So i think it's an American dream for few who get the visa to visit.
