If I lived in Wisconsin and had school age kids, I'd boycott the schools and make it clear that I did not want my children in the company of such people. I hope parents are pointing out the wrong in all this. I doubt it though.

Some people are looking for any excuse to boycott. It's like some people just wake up in the morning and decide to make international news by being stupid. I love the work the Make a Wish Foundation does, I don't see how anyone could have a problem with them or any charitable organisation that does good work.

What in the world is offensive about any of those wonderful groups?! It seems to me that more and more, organizations are boycotting everything decent and honorable.

Probably because some awful capitalistic pig (sarcasim) started them and supports them.

why on earth would the unions boycott the Girl Scouts, Habitat for Humanity and Make a Wish foundation? Surely they are sick in the
'head or totally confused. These three only do good for all people
and are worthy of everyone;s support. How totally absurd.

Was there a reason or "justification" given for this?

These (and other) charities receive huge donations from the employees and management of the companies the boycotters target. The donations are often percentages of what the company makes that quarter. The boycotters don't care what happens to the beneficiaries of the companies they target.
What is it called when you target groups of people based on preconceived ideas about them?

I wish we could boycott the State, County, City and schools to show the Unions but we still have to pay them even if we do not use their services.
If I don't like the service I get at Walmart I can shoip some where else, if I don't like the way the schools are teaching my children I can leave BUT I still have to pay the Union Teachers.

Calling for boycotts is the favorite cry of otherwise powerless liberals. They boycott everything or threaten to. It never seems to work, I mean, how's that boycott against Glenn Beck going? Is he off the air yet?
But this boycott is just ridiculous. They are calling for boycotts on wonderful institutions like the Girl Scouts and against the very businesses their pensions are invested in. They didn't do their homework very well.
I would like to see this reported widely, but I know it won't be. It would be nice if the public could see what selfish, unfeeling clowns these union leaders are.
