I bought a set of new computer. it was fine after i bought it for the first time. after several months, my computer became strange until now. Whenever i plug in the power cable, my computer is turned on automatically without pushing the power button. Is there anything wrong or broken inside my computer. Sometimes, after i shut my computer down, then it is turned on again by itself. How can it happen? how to solve it?

Sometime computer needs to be checked from the inside like connector (small connection)that attached to the board..your need to reset it by simply pulling it out then put it back again in no time in that case your just resetting it in its new form..Second check the small button in front maybe the power button is becoming brittle and deform that is why it automatically reach the power button inside or it touch the switch inside wherein it makes your computer there it on by himself.. If you know how to do it checking and fixing you can do it with simple and cared ways..But if not you need to bring it to the repair center..just to be sure.. hope this would help fix your problem

I think we should not tamper with the computer hardware as we would with the software part. Only a traine professional should handle the hardware part. Especially, when it comes to the CPU part. A simple mistake we make in a power unit like SMPS or UPS or the Cooling sytem can result in the destructoin of the whole Central processing Unit. The motherboard, RAM, Processor etc. may go bad if we tamper with the power supply system. So, it is always better to ask someone who actually knows the working of hardware.

I guess I know what the problem of your computer is. You might have pressed the power button a little harder on any day. The inner part of the switch which makes contact with each other have not come back to its original position. So, the "power button" or the "switch" always remains in an "ON" state. This is a simple problem. You can call the customer service care unit of the computer shop from where you bought it. They will come and replace that power button unit for you. Best wishes. Have a nice day =)

My computer has the same issue but I leave it that way. It's been many months now since my pc is like this but no problem arises(hopefully will not) and my pc works fine. I am still lazy to let it check by a technician..lol Maybe the comment above has a point, its about connectors maybe inside that has problem.
