Hi iamhan,
Just like television, the net can be used for both good or bad things. Before the internet, I have to go the library to do research. Now, information is just a touch of a keyboard away. Anything can be had on the net and if not put to good use, may produce bad things as well, especially on the influence of growing children.

We cannot protect our children from every harm. We can teach them decency and good sense and faith and then hope for the best. In the end, everyone will make their own choice as to which way they want to go.

the advent of internet has brought so many good things, but just anything else, it can be otherwise if not used properly.

i have to agree with you midnightbliss. anything that is not used properly or is used abusively, may not bring good.

Although it can be influential it also depends who and how it is used. We are not forced to do some of the things we do but somehow people misuse it.

there are pros and cons for using internet. I would say that one of the best thing about having the internet is the easy access to the information needed for a particular thing.
