In looking for a job, how do you prepare yourself

Since of course, you may encounter immediately an interview, you need to look first yourself in the mirror and practice as if answering possible questions that may asked to you. See yourself confident enough that you will be accepted in the sense that you know very well what you are applying for and so memorize your line.

How do I prepare myself when I look for a job? Let me see... I update my resume and character references. I try to apply on line to jobs that I am interested in. I try to know more about the company I am applying. I practice answering possible questions to interviews. I make sure that I am not late on my interviews. I am on my corporate attire with make-up. I say a little prayer before my interview. Maybe a little nudge from above may help me land the job.

Nah! I'm just a nervous wreck that's why I prepare much. But, no matter how I prepare for an interview I always get cold feet. I didn't do well on my last interview for my current job. I was being asked about the technicalities of my job and I just couldn't answer my panel. I just put on my smile. I really thought I failed. But then they called and I was accepted. I was so happy! I guess the smile worked too!

Yes be yourself, report on time don't be late, be confident in answering all questions to be asked by the interviewer, don't forget to carry with you your impressive resume together with your OTR (Official Transcript of Record) observe your manner of talking and added to these, dont forget to make application letter because this is your first contact with the prospective employer and this is the best opportunity to create the right impression from the outset.

Confidence is the most important thing for me to have when I am having my interview. There are times when you are not very confident that you tend to get tongue tied and you dont know what to say anymore and that is something I dont want to happen.

First thing to do,sleep well. This will make you compose and relax the nest morning. Complete your documents, no missing, this will be a measure of your being responsible and sensible, always listen, be aware of your surroundings, be natural and simple. Do not make impressions, just be yourself. here a story I think will help you; Applicants for a job as radio operator was talking among themselves when a new applicant walked in, he sat and listen and observed his surrounding. Then he got up and walked into a room, then after a while came out smiling. Then the other applicant noticed him and ask why he was already sent into the room when they came ahead of him. He said listen and saw that blinking codes over the wall, telling that the first one to walk into the room will be accepted. It was the only time the other applicant noticed and heard that blinking code. The lesson here is be observant and always be ready for any test.

I just go with the flow and try to be honest. Most employers are looking for somebody trustworthy and easy going. I always think before the next what I am going to say, I have been to so many job interviews that most of the employers ended up asking the same questions such: what are your weakness, strengths, what do you like about your job the most, things like that. I got used to it and looking for a job is harder than the interview in my personal opinion.

It is really hard to find for a job now a days most especially that you do not have contacts. Keep on trying, maybe the companies you just bumped into had already taken their choice from the first ten who got in, however just to compensate for the the time spent in long waiting they still have to attend with the interviews. And come to think of it,the number of jobless now, even if you are qualified you will just be placed in the waiting list, also try having a follow up.

you should also consider reviewing or researching the nature of the industry itself, and the position you are applying for. so that during the interview, you may want to strongly emphasize your strengths that relates to that position so that they will consider you an asset in their organization. this will also bring in more confidence to you. Good luck! :)

Make a draft beforehand of what you want to put into your application. Keep two things constantly in mind. what kind of person the company is looking for, and what you have to offer that corresponds to this. Find out as much as possible about the work involved and also about the company you are applying to. This will ensure that you present yourself in a way that matches the requirements of the job. Try to identify something in your own past experience to link you with that particular company. If you have ever done business with them before, say so in your application. Show that you know what they do, show that you are interest.

As i believed that "first impression is lasting" so i make sure that i am not overdressed for any interview i applied for and make sure that i prepared my impressive resume and i make sure that all of the information is relevant to the desired position because i believed that my resume is a tool to introduce myself to the employer and express my interest in the position and to get the oppurtunity for a face-to-face interview.

very good, that is right,be confident enough to face your employer but not too much since you will be looking as if an arrogant one. Be prompt of course and don't forget to smile always to cover up your nervousness, just relax and take it easy.Be honest and sincere in all questions that will be brought up.

confidence is an add on to ones personality but be careful, for some you may come up arrogant as you answer, just be simple enough to touch the attention of the employer that you maybe registered in his mind. The aura of being a respectable one draws attention,I hope I'm saying it right.thanks my friend for your time.
