I downloaded Internet explorer 9 yesterday and installed it asap. Everything was fine and i haven't seen any errors while installation process was made. What surprised me the most was speed of browser when i opened it. And again i must say that IE9 look very very similar to Google Chrome browser right now. It is fast as hell, looks nice, but still this similarity makes me so crazy, that i still cannot imagine me using it instead of Chrome.
Also in the very first day when IE9 was out there was several tests made which proved that IE9 is faster than any other web browser right now. Well it was so in the first few tests and lets face it - tests made after single day proves that browser speed is not the same on different machines and with different add-on or extensions turned on or off.
Installation was simple too, but it is only windows 7 supporting web browser, so those who still use older Windows XP OS will not be able to look at this new web browser.
Try it out and say what you think of it.

I am using 64-bit version and now of course IE9 is faster than my both Chrome browsers - Canary build and stable build. It is still faster because Chrome on my PC have 9 apps/extensions turned on, but IE9 have none.

You are really not making a fair comparison, then. I suggest that you read the article I quoted (especially page 2) to see WHY you should be using the 32-bit version rather than the 64-bit version - and why the 32-bit version is faster.

IE 9 is good for me. I love it actually, it is a good replacement for firefox. Initially, I thought IE was the worst, but now it is ranked the second, and I've pushed firefox to the last since it kept crashing for me. My first will always be Chrome though.

I'm a firefox nuts and you really made me want to download the new ie...it seems so intersting!
I just read an article saying that ie is awesome but is it too late? Like ie doesn't have it's place anymore and firefox and chrome took it.
Windows guys are very inteligent to copy chrome, they know they can't fight firefox that is the 1st one so they go to the number two.
Do you know opera? It was the best one actually until 2004 or 6 and firefox actually copied it's tabs and other great features. Opera is actually preatty good and light.
