As I had responded to a topic started by a friend. The story was told and retold of how a dog forced itself from it's leash on a raging storm. About 15 minutes later, a landslide came rushing down where three out of six, dwelling in that abode died due to the landslide. Hours before that, it was said that the dog had been barking and whining probably warning it's masters.

dogs are allot more in tune to nature then people are and have never been taught to ignore there instincts like people. There for when they feel something isn't right they react. Many animals if you watch them closely can tell you what the weather will be like the next day even I have a cat who sleeps with her head under her paws if there going to be a storm the next day I believe its the pressure in teh air that she's senceing but unlike people she cant pop a pain killer and ignore it

yeah, i believe that too. when it comes to danger, they feel it. stories have been told that if there's a coming storm or landslides etc, birds fly away from the mountains and migrate. there's a time too that our dog wont stop barking and he is like goin crazy just to find out that there's an intruder that wants to break into our house. that's a few from what I heard about. they just have their way of knowing that danger is on its way.
