I already know what are you thinking ..I'm a male so i don't fully take care of the housework but .... I do equally well to give a help to my mother. We had the dishwasher for more than 20 years, we've changed about 3 or 4, at the end...we gave up. I personally am every night to wash dishes by hand with detergent and are sincere, I do it willingly! I do not know if in the future purchase a dishwasher again, but if they are not,for me there would be no problems at all to continue to wash by hand.

Never have put them in the dish washer. Never really had a dish washer and I really do think that a dish washer is a rather useless thing to begin with. You might think that your dishes are getting clean, but really they do not have the type of deep cleaning. Therefore, it may take a bit longer and bit a bit more tedious to wash them by hand. However, it just gets them more clean. So yeah, dish washing does work to an extent, but really scrubbing them by hand works even more. So just cut out the middle man and wash them by hand. You might have to do it anyway, despite putting them in the dishwasher. It is just a short cut to me that really is not a short cut. Washing by hand does work the best but we've never had a dishwasher ever and I don't want one.

Unfortunately, my husband and I don't have a dish washer. So, we have to wash our dishes by hand. It's really not something that either one of us likes doing. We hope that we can get a dishwasher at some point.

I prefer washing dishes by hand. I do have a dishwasher but I don't get what's so good about it. I find it a lot more convenient washing the dishes by hand as it's a lot quicker and saves money as well considering you only have to buy detergent. I feel the dishes are more clean when I wash them by hand too. Sometimes after I've washed dishes in the dishwasher I'll need to clean them by hand since I just don't think they're clean although they look it. Washing dishes by hand is a lot more satisfying as well. You feel as if you've actually done something for once, haha!

We don't have a dishwasher at home so I am obliged to do dish washing by hand. Its just alright for me to do it knowing that I could stand up a bit after eating. I am not used to sit directly after eating because I felt that my stomach is so full that I have to stand up or walk slowly for a couple of times so I could sit comfortably after wards. One more thing, its just so good to see that there's no dirty dishes in the kitchen so I like to do the dish washing by myself even without the aid of a dish washer. Good night!

Hi there. we dont have a dish washer so obviously we wash by hand but yeah me too i do it willingly, i don't like seeing the kitchen and sink dirty with all the dirty dishes. but i am glad you help your mom with the household chores. i wish my brothers were like you. i never saw them wash the dishes or even just sweep the floor, never. even just give dad a hand when he works on his motorbike or car. your parents are lucky to have you take care and be safe

Hand wash is the traditional way of washing. Dish washer, washer dryer...... all are modern facilities that was created to ease the workload, help to reduce time and make us lazy :) The traditional way is more better since it is cleaner and you can have an exercise while doing it. What is there to compare. In some country traditional ways are still being use since the modern equipment are expansive and hard to get. If you have such equipment, will you use it to wash just 1 or 2 item. That will be a waste and not economical. So to each his way of doing things. For economic reason, easy to use, time saving or just lazy......

I have never owned a dishwasher and don't believe I will anytime soon. Washing dishes for me basically comes naturally. I do try to wash all at once so that nothing piles. So I suppose it is done willingly on my end as well.

You know if I had a dishwasher it would be surely at the dishwasher, I find this machine amazing. Maybe I should buy one to my fiancé cause he is the one responsible for the dishes (if we don't make guys help they really make us do everything, but he does just the dishes). I just can't stand really in this cold when he doesn't want to turn the water hot.

Its a better work to give helping hand towards our mother i wash my clothes and i wash the dishes and i cook everything in my house. Some times i am a sweeper in my house hahha. Bu some times i am going to do work a plantation and sometimes i wll see entire hard work for myself, and i never disturbed my family while i am at working in that time. If u wash by hand it seems to be ur nails are wrakcing th e plates. the plates are wasted then u wash the plates by scrubber not with hand scrubber is useful to u.

I'm a student and I live with other 2 guys and 1 girl. We don't have dishwater so we always wash dishes by hand. There is no place to put a dishwater and even for the cost we don't want to take one.

with two children and my other half constantly creating stacks of dishes i usually end up doing them twice a day, once in the morning after breakfast, and once after dinner at night, i've always done it by hand and have never had a dishwasher, i'd really love one though and plan to get one when i've bought my house...can't wait..

I`ve never had a dishwasher in my household. I wouldnt even know how it works. o_o As weird as that sounds. I wash my dishes by hand all the way. I feel like you know its cleaner because you`ve cleaned them yourselve and scrubbed them down to the core lol.

When I lived in my old home I had a dishwasher. I didn't feel that the dishes came out as clean as when I did them myself so I rarely used it. Doing dishes by hand is peaceful to me and not a chore. It gives me time to think about my day or to plan out my next day. It doesn't take very long either.
