As you all know I started this topic 5 days ago in which I got massive and good response in favor of Pakistan. Here is the link - http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2502545.aspx
So first record has been broken which was lowest total by Australia since 1992.
Now my question is very much the same. Do you still agree with me regarding, "Pakistan is going to beat Australia?.

Pakistan put up a very good fight and they have beaten the australian comfortably in the end. But pakistan should show a little more responsibility in the batting, they have a bit awkward while batting.

Well they are Australians and do not understimate their bowling attack. So I think Pakistan batting did well.

Hi islooboy
After a long long time, I was forced to watch the match on TV. We do not have a TV at home, and I have no interest in the cricket world cup or otherwise since 2003. But this match of today, I enjoyed watching it. I must admit it was a great one and yes, I am now a fan of the Pak Team. Going by how they played today, I think they would quite easily reach the finals. There was no panic, and some great efforts from the TEAM as a whole. And yes, I am a fan of Afridi now... Dont know why but I just admired the way he led the side... A few more matches and if I could see those on TV... maybe I might get back to the old addiction of Cricket

Well, Thanks for watching and I wish to get you back fully on board :D.
Afridi is always known as entertainer but in this world cup he is proving himself as a good bowler, captain and a good leader who is leading from front. Still he needs more effort to be perfect like he is not fully attacking on opposition when it was needed most in this match and in previous matches too. Also the way he got out was absolutely childish act from him. Thanks God umer akmal was playing good. Razzaq was struggling to see ball. So Afridi must be careful in knockout round.
Now There are only three matches left but in these matches none team have any chance of error or any mistake.
Still I am hopeful......:D cheers

You were spot on with your prediction. Pakistan went on to finish Australia's streak. I think it was appropriate as well as Pakistan was the team that first tasted defeat in the World cup final of 1999 where this streak began. Next up in the quarters it might be India who tasted defeat in the 2003 world cup. How sweet it would be if India could throw Australia out of the world cup?
Cheers!
Ram

Yes, it was really a sweet feeling to see India throw Australia out of the world cup. And that sets up a dream semifinal of India vs. Pakistan. :) Something tells me that India will beat Pakistan again in the world cup :). BTW, thanks for the best response.
Cheers!
Ram
