I don't know why, but I am chronically depressed these days. And I really don't know what to do about it. Can anybody help me with this? What should I do? I am already talking to a psychologist, but it doesn't seem to help much.

Personally I think this is something a lot of people will have to endure no matter what other things are going on in their life. Sometimes it is just an embalance of something their body is lacking, sometimes it could be hormonal or emotional, other times hereditary or caused from lack of certain vitamins, etc. Or if you are like me some of mine is also caused by other Health issues going on in your body as well. One of the things I have found when I am feeling the worst, is finding things that I seem to enjoy doing, like Writing, singing, and just relaxing a little more. Also find people you enjoy being around and talking with and enjoy life. I know it may not always be easy, but anything helps. And if you believe in the Power of Prayer saying a little Prayer and trusting God never hurt as well.

I have been depresed before and trust me it is definitely not a fun place to be. I've found ways to overcome it without medicine, but it's not an easy task and definitely different for everyone. The first step is to try to pinpoint exactly why you are depressed, chances are you already know and just keep cycling through it, constantly thinking about the reason why and bringing it back to the forefront. I've done it before many times, and even convinced myself I deserved to be like that. No one does. Please try to find something you can do, get out more, go on walks, they help. Listen to music, dance, exercise, box, do whatever you can do to expel energy and get your mind off of it. I do not believe in medicine for depression.

Depression is a very serious problem. to overcome it is another matter. I think the best thing that you should do try to divert your attention to something worthwhile. try to find things that interest you most. make yourself busy always. do not stay in one place all the time, keep moving. go to your friends and hang out. have somebody to talk to. open yourself to others, to those friends who are willing to listen and be open to your family. you pray. seek guidance from God. don't let your depression ruin your life. life has lot to offer. Explore and be happy.
